Captivating Romance.

When I was growing up,one of my favorite games was “Kidnapped and rescued”.It use to be,should I say a game that was making the rounds then, and I can still remember a lot of children like me who played it.It is a game whereby the girls would adopt a role to be the beauty or the princess and the guys would have to fight and rescue his beauty or princess and become an hero. The girls would want to be the heroine and their hero come looking for them. The princess would want his handsome prince to come rescuing her.

The female gender longs for romance;to be seen and desired,to be sought after and fought for and to be someone’s priority.Like the Beast must win Beauty’s heart in “Beauty and The Beast and also in the gazebo scene where the captain finally declares his love to Maria by moonlight and song and a kiss in the movie”The Sound of Music”.

You will see that this version of this has a place in our dreams. If you are a movie freak in the yore days, you can still remember the same scenario in Sleeping Beauty,Cinderella,Maid Marian or Cora in The Last of the Mohicans,Snow White and The Little Mermaid.

I can’t be embarassed to say this because until now in my life as an adult I simply love to go and fight after what I want. This desire is set deep in my heart.I am not ashame to downplay this and pretend that it is less than it is.

     “I will find you

No matter how long it takes, no matter how far — I will find you

Nathanial to Core in The Last of the Mohicans”.

Love y’all and Have a nice day. PEACE!
